Serves: 1
Ingredients:
70 g Yunion Wonton noodles
3 stalks Choy Sum or any Chinese green veggies
Pickled green chili
5 slices Chinese BBQ pork
Seasoning for noodles:
1 tsp light soy sauce
¾ tsp dark soy sauce
¾ tsp sweet soy sauce
1 tsp garlic oil
½ tsp sesame oil
Instructions:
Add all ingredients for seasoning (except water/chicken stock) onto a plate and set aside.
In a pot, blanch Choy Sum stems in boiling water (add a little cooking oil into the water for a glossy look of the Choy Sum) for about 30 seconds followed by the leaves for about 10 seconds. Remove with a large strainer and set aside.
Bring water to a boil again. Add Wonton noodles into a noodle strainer and place it inside the pot. Cook for 15 seconds or slightly longer till the noodles is done to your liking. Loosen the noodles with a pair of chopsticks.
Remove the noodles and place them in a bowl of cold water. After the noodles are cooled down, return them to the pot for 5 to 10 seconds just to warm them up.
Garnish noodles with blanched choy sum and sliced BBQ pork and serve with pickled green chilies.
